Dr. Day

So Matthew has one of the best doctors!! Yes, his name is Dr. Day and today was the day! (That's a lot of days) Matthew was such a good sport. This was the first time that I went without Luke and my sweet friend Nicole came along since I am terrified of shots. Matthew is getting smarter and smarter every day. He continues to shock me with things he says and picks up on. So, while we were in the Doctors office, he points to his leg and says "owwweeee"!! oh my gosh! I had no idea he knew or could communicate that he knew a shot was coming. My heart both sank and skipped a beat knowing that he really understood. then, later on, Dr. Day came toward him with a tongue compressor/depressor (Luke and I disagree on the actual word) and he took his pacifier out of his mouth and opened it while Dr. Day was still 10 feet away. haha

mom: Matthew can you say "tree"

M: "yyeeehh"

mom: Matthew can you say "cloud"

M: "clap" (while clapping hands together)

mom: haha sure, they both start with a "cl"
